This blog post spawned a rallying cry, based upon the goodness that existed in the hearts of a people in the city of Nashville. And now, the key phrase from that post has ignited volunteers and supporters throughout the state and beyond, all of whom stand up to identify with people who were "handling it on our own.”

1) Supported the Community Foundation’s Flood Relief Fund, which means all money stays local in the affected areas to assist nonprofits who are helping victims of this disaster.
